Pues&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Barcelona, 26 de enero del 2023.- <\/strong> La revista <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/movilidadelectrica.com\">Movilidad El\u00e9ctrica<\/a><\/strong> ha publicado una informaci\u00f3n sobre bater\u00edas de larga duraci\u00f3n para veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos. Los detalles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los cient\u00edficos han buscado durante mucho tiempo utilizar nanocables en las bater\u00edas.&nbsp;Miles de veces m\u00e1s delgados que un cabello humano, son altamente conductores y cuentan con una gran \u00e1rea de superficie para el almacenamiento y transferencia de electrones.&nbsp;Sin embargo, estos filamentos&nbsp;<strong>son extremadamente fr\u00e1giles<\/strong>&nbsp;y no resisten bien las descargas y recargas repetidas o los ciclos.&nbsp;En una bater\u00eda t\u00edpica de iones de litio, se expanden y se vuelven quebradizos, lo que provoca grietas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los investigadores de la Universidad de California en Irvine (UCI) resolvieron este problema en 2016 encerrando un nanocable de oro en una capa de di\u00f3xido de manganeso y cubriendo el ensamblaje con un electrolito hecho de un gel similar al plexigl\u00e1s. La combinaci\u00f3n result\u00f3 ser segura y resistente a fallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La descubridora de la bater\u00eda \u201ceterna\u201d fue&nbsp;<strong>Mya Le Thai<\/strong>, investigadora de la UCI, y lo hizo por accidente. Durante tres meses, la investigadora realiz\u00f3 hasta 200.000 ciclos de carga sin observar ninguna p\u00e9rdida de potencia y sin fracturar ning\u00fan nanocable. Seg\u00fan apuntaban desde la universidad, este tipo de pruebas puede llegar, como m\u00e1ximo, hasta los 7.000 ciclos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reginald Penner, presidente del departamento de qu\u00edmica de la universidad, explicaba:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cSi pudieras obtener 100.000 ciclos de una bater\u00eda de iones de litio, podr\u00eda significar que nunca necesitar\u00e1s comprar dos.\u00a0<strong>Estamos hablando de una vida de 20 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, tal vez incluso m\u00e1s\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.movilidadelectrica.com\/coches-electricos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos<\/a>&nbsp;son uno de los grandes demandantes de bater\u00edas, junto a otros dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos como los ordenadores y los smartphones. Esta demanda de la movilidad el\u00e9ctrica seguir\u00e1 creciendo exponencialmente, m\u00e1s a\u00fan a medida que se definen las normativas que eliminar\u00e1n de las carreteras a los coches de combusti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, el problema de las bater\u00edas, l\u00f3gicamente, es que no duran para siempre. Una vez finalizada su vida \u00fatil,<strong>\u00a0son dif\u00edciles de reciclar y altamente contaminantes.<\/strong>\u00a0Por ello, el descubrimiento de Mya Le Thai podr\u00eda cambiar por completo el paradigma de las bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El equipo de Mya Le Thai contin\u00faa experimentando con bater\u00edas de nanocables envueltas en gel.
