UE: 1,44 millones de vehículos vendidos en mayo 2018

Las ventas de turismos y todoterrenos en el conjunto de Europa se situaron en 1,44 millones de unidades en el quinto mes del año actual, un 0,6% de crecimiento en comparación con las 1,43 millones de unidades de unidades entregadas en dicho mes de 2017.

Mayo: En los primeros cinco meses del 2018 el incremento del mercado de automóviles alcanza el 10,6%

Según han informado las patronales del automóvil,  el mes de mayo ha cerrado con 135.522 turismos matriculados, lo que representa un incremento del 7,2% en comparación con el mismo periodo del año 2017. En cuanto a las matriculaciones acumuladas en los primeros cinco meses del año se alcanzaron 592.269 unidades, lo que representa un 10,6% más que en el periodo enero-mayo de 2017. En este periodo, todos los canales de venta obtienen un signo positivo, volviendo a destacar el de empresas, con un 15,8% de subida, frente al de particulares y alquiladores.

ACEA MEMBERS: Passenger car registrations +0.7% first quarter of 2018; ‐5.3% in March

 In March 2018 the EU passenger car market declined (-5.3%) for the first time this year, with registrations totalling 1,792,599 new cars – the first March drop since 2014.

However, it must be noted that last year’s results (with the best March figures on record) constituted a high basis of comparison. Momentum is starting to slow in some markets and especially in the United Kingdom, where sales dropped by 15.7% in March. New car demand also declined in Italy (‐5.8%) and Germany (‐3.4%), but growth was posted in France (2.2%) and Spain (2.1%).
